Fábio Alberto Castelo de Souza Cordovil was born on July 09, 1986, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Fábio was always been a very agitated child, but also very timid.
When Fábio was 6 years old, he started practicing martial arts, doing Karate Wado-Ryu, and he discovered that martial art was a means of channeling all his restrained anger, a more harmonious way of life, where he could express bodily all his yearnings.
Fábio keep doing Karate Wado-Ryu until his 11 years old, getting at green belt. After that, he started with other types of martial arts, like capoeira, taekwondo, judo, kung-fu, and Chinese boxing. When he turned 15 years old, he started at kickboxing, and found his passion. Kickboxing is what he really love, and has been fighting ever since. Get his Black Belt with 21 years old, and Muay Thai Black Belt with 24 years old, starting on that mode with 19.
During his career of Kickboxing and Muay Thai fights, he has 47 fights, 32 wins (25 KO), 2 draws and 13 losses.
Nowadays, Fábio is married and has two beautiful children, a 4 year old boy and a 1 year old girl. His training, mostly, is done in the back of his own home, in his private gym.
Fábio likes to quote a phrase from Miyamoto Musashi, which he identifies himself with: “For the paths of life, I do not know how to conduct myself. I only have to seek shelter in the shadow of the martial art”.
